Have you ever wondered why it seems like 3 percent of the worldwide population gets everything they want when everyone else seems to be struggling? You might have even read or seen “the Secret” or study the Laws of Attraction and yet you are still not seeing any positive results in your life. You know you are a good person and that you have done everything you were supposed to do but yet life is getting harder and harder, and you ask yourself: Why? You know deep inside that you deserve more than what you currently have.
Here is why: you are being sabotaged by your own subconscious mind. Your mind loves to maintain you in a status quo and in its comfort zone. You mind is running a subprogram without your knowledge. How many voices do you hear, or, if you prefer, what thoughts are running constantly in the back of your mind? What you focus on the most will come into your life. The problem is that most of us are not clear on what we really want to attract in our lives. Therefore, we attract all the things we do not want… The Universe cannot distinguish between “you wanted to have it” and “you already have it”.
Our thoughts are energy and what we focus the most on will appear. So when we constantly say words such as “I can’t do this because I don’t have enough money” Or “I don’t want to invite people over because my house is too small”. What we are actually saying to the universe over and over is that we don’t have something so the universe complies and sends you more of the same thing which in this example will be no money and the same tiny house. Other words or expressions you might be using all the time are things like ” She is such a pain in my neck” “he is giving me headaches”. Words and thoughts are powerful, and the latter will cause an adverse effect on your bodies. You will head up with headaches, or worse in some cases like brain tumors or other unpleasant things.
Many will tell you that positive thinking is the answer and it is, partially. You need more than positive thinking to change the outcome of your reality.
You are the creator of your own life. Everything that has happened to you or is happening to you; you created it and you must accept that fact. Many of you will refuse that simple concept and will blame others, society, their culture or their religious beliefs. Many are so stuck in their way of thinking that it has become part of who they are. When those people are confronted, they deny it or say “I can’t change”. That again is false.
You must change how you think and what words you use. Instead of “I can’t” replace it by something positive. You must imagine, with feelings and emotions, what you really want and see yourself as already in possession of it. If you want a big house, see that house in your mind. See yourself as already living in it. Think of everything you really want and place it on a visual board or create a mind movie using a movie maker application. Then, every day look at your visual board or mind movie, this will help reprogram your brain in a gentle way. When you wake up in the morning, write in your gratitude journal the 5 things that you are grateful for and include the ones that you want as if you already have them. For example: if you want a job that pays you a six-figure salary then when you write your gratitude say: “I am grateful to have this high paying job because I can provide better for my family”. After you have written each day the things that you are grateful for and why you are grateful for them, read them out loud and say thank you after each sentence. Do this three times. When you do this, combined with the mind movie, you will be able to change your thoughts from negative to positive and in doing so, you raise your vibration.
The Universe will bring it to you when you least expect it. This requires you to work on yourself and to always be aware of what you think and what you say. However, this will not work if you do not speak nor give back to the Universe from your heart. Try, I dare you!
